BITSAT is a computer based examination for admission in Birla Institute Of Technology and Science
BITS is a very prestigious and one of the most coveted universities in India. Thus the cutoff is generally very high.
The test is similar to JEE and former AIEEE. It includes 4 sections
Thus making a total of 150 questions. Correct answers gets you +3 while incorrect answers deducts -1 from your score. Moreover you must have at least aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Also you must have at least 60% in each of them. This is the required eligibility for getting admission into an undergraduate program. So even if you get decent score above cutoff you won’t get the admission if you do not satisfy above criteria.
BITS has three campuses around India and one in Dubai. But BITSAT is only for admission in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses.
