CAT

Common Admission Test or CAT is a management aptitude test conducted by the IIMCAT for admission to MBA programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and over 1200 other B-schools across India. The CAT exam is conducted by one of the IIMs on behalf of IIMCAT, in online mode at various test centres in over 156 cities. CAT 2019 will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode on November 24, 2019 in two sessions – forenoon (9 am to 12 am) and afternoon (2:00 pm to 5 pm). CAT exam will be conducted online at multiple centres in 156 cities across India.

MAT

Management Aptitude Test  or MAT is a national-level exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses. The exam is conducted four times in a year, each in February, May, September and December. Candidates who qualify the exam are eligible for admissions to more than 600 B-schools accepting MAT scores. MAT is conducted in both offline (paper based test) and online (computer based test) modes. Candidates can choose to appear in the exam as per their preference of mode. Fees, exam pattern and syllabus for both the modes are same; while registrations and exam dates are different.

XAT

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is an entrance test conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur on behalf of XAMI for MBA admissions at XLRI and other institutions accepting the XAT score for admissions in different MBA courses.

The test is conducted every year in around 75 cities all over India. XLRI has been conducting XAT exams for more than 60 years at all India level for students aspiring management education. More than 150 institutions all over India accept XAT scorers.

Eligibility:

1. Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent in any discipline.
2. All Indian candidates can appear for XAT exam. However, NRI and Foreign candidates may apply through GMAT score.
